I do a lot of travelling by train. Some of the train's ticket had been collected. Especially my traveling from and to Bandung - Jogjakarta. I was studying and now I stay and work in Jogjakarta for ten years. My hometown is Bandung, West Java. The trip and my adaptation in both of the city was inspired me to make this work.

This work is our three-dimensional imagination !!!We make this collaboration, because we were impressed with each other.I was impressed by Ira's imagination, and she was impressed by my imagination to a sheet of fabric, made it's alive!!!
I love tie-dye !!!   I like to experiment with some technique, fabric and color. Try experiment and make new tehnique. It's amazing !! I never find similar motif 100% eventhough for the same technique.
And I wondered, what it will be, if I combine all my experience by sewing them.It will be very wonderful to walk around the fabrics and see all the result of my experience.!!!

I used Kawung Batik Motif (if was a sacral motif, symbolise of four human's characters. I stylised the motif as optic illusion motif with tritik. (Indonesian stich tie dye technique)

Passion can be not right, but it is okay... !!

Tidak banyak yang bisa saya ceritakan...
Tapi pada saat ini hidup saya terfokus pada suami dan kain-kain saya...
Suami dan kain adalah dua hal yang membawa arah hidup saya
Sejak kuliah dan sampai saat ini, saya sangat tertarik dengan celup ikat.
Entah mengapa, tehnik yang sederhana ini memberikan saya gairah.

Pada saat ini juga saya sedang tertarik dengan batik dan berharap bisa belajar banyak lagi tentang kain dan warna...
